  1. Adirondack Animal Land– you would think a little zoo in upstate NY would be cheesy but we have to tell you this place is really fun. They have real zoo animals like big city zoos and the place just has a good vibe to it for some time off the lake.

  2. The Wildlife Sports & Education MuseumHey … when in Rome, do as the Romans. This place is worth visiting… well … just for the experience and it’s a reason to get off the lake for a little while.

    Good for ages: Might be a bit much for anyone under age 6

  5. Blueberry Hill Chances are you will be having pancakes at least one day of your stay on Lake Sacandage. You are on vacation after all! Might as well make them blueberry pancakes. It’s a little bit of a ride (about 40 minutes from Mayfield on the southern end of the lake) but again … you’re on vacation. Leisurely rides are encouraged.
