Lake Sacandaga is almost as big as Lake George in upstate New York. It is a great weekend getaway just 3-4 hours from NYC and a quick trip from Saratoga, NY and Albany, NY in the Capital Region. The BIGGEST asset to Lake Sacandaga is there are NO crowds. It is literally a secret haven in the Adirondack Mountains.
